Lo-fi photography

I've been playing with the camera in my phone lately. Sure it's gimmicky. But I am finding it a fun way to experiment with photography. Currently, I use filter applications to modify the images including lo-mob and I'm also checking out Instagram.

And really, it's just another excuse to photograph Lue. Cause can you really take too many photos of your fuzzy friends? I
think  not. :)

To move, or not to move...

The longest I have ever lived in one place (since childhood) is two years. I've got moving fever. Since graduating college over seven years ago, I have lived in eight apartments. That is a lot of moving. As my current lease is nearing an end, I am faced with a decision, to move or not to move? It's the first time in eight apartments worth-of-time that I don't know the answer to that question. But I have narrowed down my options to 1) a larger two-bedroom apartment within my current complex, or 2) NOT MOVING. And though I know the decision is up to me, I figured I should blog-it-out in hopes of a actually making a decision.

Hello blog world! I might be a little late to the game but I figure there is always room for one more! Welcome to my photo blog, where I hope to post and talk about the things I am doing, seeing and most importantly photographing!

Since I have spent my morning off from work learning how to manipulate Blogger (thanks Chris Bergin!) to my own design, I haven't taken any new photos today. So instead, I will take the opportunity to show off my cat Lucy. Here she is in all her lazy glory.
